Athletes in this group have either graduated from YR1 who wish to pursue racing. They desire to continue skiing in a team environment and further refine all aspects of competition. Participants will continue to have fun on skis while refining and enhancing the many aspects of ski racing. In addition to ski technique participants will foster a sense of team spirit and belonging. Under the guidance of trained coaches participants will refine and enhance already sound and efficient skate and classic ski technique. Coaches will work To refine the skier’s dryland and on-skis routines (warm-ups, workouts, recovery). Skiers will learn to self-monitor and gain ownership of all aspects of their training Racers will learn to refine and take complete ownership of ski race preparation. This includes pre-race, race, and post-race preparation and execution.

Training days:
Formal Training Frequency: 3x/week
Training days: Tuesday evenings: 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, Thursday evenings: 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, and Saturday mornings: 10:00 am to 12 noon.
Note: The skier is expected to train outside of ENSC formal training days minimum of 5-6 days per week. Some days will require 2 or more training sessions.
