  • Hinton Dryland Camp September 20-22
  • SWC Fun Run – Saturday September 28
  • Fast Trax Run & Ski – Run and Roller Ski Relay event – Sunday Oct 6

Monday September 2:

  • Strength Training
    • As usual

Tuesday September 3:

  • NO FORMAL TRAINING
    • Suggest Fartlek Intensity
    • Run, roller ski or bike
    • Up to an hour

Wednesday September 4:

  • XC – On Your Own
    • 1.0 to 2.0 hrs run or Roller Ski (This is Z1 , which means “conversation” pace)

Thursday September 5:

  • NO FORMAL TRAINING
    • Suggest easy training
    • Run, roller ski or bike
    • Up to an hour

Friday September 6:

  • Recovery Day
    • Easy run/walk/ski, some core, and light stretching.

Saturday September 7:

  • Who: Youth Racers
  • Where: Kinsmen Sports Centre
    • First Parking Lot
  • When: 9:00 am to 11:00 am
  • What:
    • Classic Roller Ski
    • Fartlek Intensity

Sunday September 8:

  • Suggested Training
    • Run, roller ski or bike
    • 1 to 2 hrs
    • LSD – long, slow, distance (Conversational pace)
