U18 – Development/Racing

Continue developing overall fitness and ski specific skills through dryland and on snow training.

WHO: Athletes in this group have either graduated from YD or are U18 aged skiers who want to continue skiing and training at a high level who may (or may not) want to compete regularly.

WHAT: Racing is certainly not mandatory but we will train as though you are preparing to race. You will be given a yearly training plan (YTP) that outlines specific training as defined by your personal goals. Refinement of all skills can be expected, as well as improving ski specific endurance and strength.  This is a full season program and includes dryland and on-snow training with the option of  training either two, three, or four days per week.
