As of the overnight grooming: 

All nordic trails in Capilano, Goldbar, Goldstick and Southloop have been groomed for skating with existing classical tracks in place.  The trails are holding up well, with conditions ranging from firm to soft, however we hope these cold days will help the softer areas to set up (hold their shape better).  

To this point, the snowfall in the park has been light, but helpful in rejuvenating the trails.  

Expect icy areas, some shallower tracks with ice bottom and harder, faster conditions, particularly where there was water/ice and sun-exposure or where melting snowbanks have run onto the trails. 

Southloop: extreme ice on some uphills and downhills – NOT recommended.
