The skate lanes are in good shape throughout Goldbar/Capilano and Goldstick trails.

The new snow has bonded well to the existing base allowing for strong push off and glide with out the snow giving away or sliding.

There are a few thin sections, especially the wind-blown areas, where there is a little grass peeking through, but not enough to affect your skiing.

Caution advised: likely some thin spots in wind and sun exposed areas.

We have been able to add a classic track in: Capilano, Goldbar (Woodcutters, Hadhirgaan, select areas of the lake/tree line areas), creekcrossing). In Goldstick (switchbacks, south-loop) classical skiing is skier tracked only on the packed base.
