In order to preserve the snow and keep it from getting compressed into ice, we will need to keep the grooming equipment off the trails and thus have suspended planned snowfarming and grooming activities for today/tonight.  We will be monitoring and will get out to work on the trails as soon as we can.  

All Goldbar, Goldstick, and Capilano Trails: icy and not recommended.

We are also recommending that users refrain from using the Nordic Ski trails in order to preserve the snow (this includes skiing and foot traffic).  Strathcona Wilderness Centre has also made the same call and is closed today and tomorrow.
