A couple of things coming up. We are holding the Open technique Day at SWC tomorrow (Friday) from 10:00 am to 2:00. On New Year’s Day (that’s January 1) SWC will host the Troll in the Wilderness, a 1km to 10km mass start Skate event. And yes, it will be be a late, 12 noon, start 😀

- Recovery training
- Brisk walk/short ski/short run
Thursday December 26:
- No Formal Training
- Christmas Dinner burn-off training
- 1.5 to 2hrs of LSD
Friday December 27:
- Informal Technique Day
- For all ENSC members
- SWC
- 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
- Ski, video, feedback, ski some more
- Technique – Skate and Classic (bring both)
- Bring – SK and CL equipment, a lunch, and a change of clothes
Saturday December 28
- No Formal Training
- Typically an intensity day
- Suggested training:
- Medium Intervals
- Warm Up – 20min (5/5/5 plus 5 sprints)
- 4-6 x 5min @Z4 with 3min R
- SK or Cl
- Choose a technique point to work on and think about this when doing the intensity
Sunday December 29:
- Distance Day
- 1.5 to 2.5 hrs LSD
- Add 4-6 sprints of 10-15 seconds after 30-40min. Ensure you have 2-3 min active, slow skiing between efforts.
