ENSC grooms and maintains, in conjunction with the city, over 12 km of high quality cross country ski trails. These trails extend through Capilano, Goldbar and Goldstick.
A bit about ENSC
Founded in 1978, the Edmonton Nordic Ski Club is now one of Canada’s largest nordic ski clubs with approximately 1400 members. The Club provides lessons and programs for skiers of all ages and abilities. The Edmonton Nordic Ski Club grooms and maintains the connected trail system in Gold Bar, Goldstick and Capilano Parks. The adjoining parks feature 12 kilometers of connected and illuminated ski trails ranging from very easy to more challenging. When temperatures drop, the Edmonton Nordic Ski Club Trails & Grooming Team make man-made snow at Gold Bar Park, extending the length of the skiing season. At the Strathcona Science Park, the Edmonton Nordic Ski Club maintains and operates a full service range for our Biathlon program.
